Shadow Daggers Fade was added to the game on 17 September 2015 during the Shadow Boxing update for CS:GO. The knife skin features two daggers covered with translucent colors that create a unique gradient. The colorful design includes shades of pink, purple, and yellow where unique patterns depend on the pattern index.

The handles are made of metal and contain an image of a chess rook. The most valuable pattern is the Full Fade where the tip of the blades is mostly purple. Other patterns are considered less valuable and often called 99% or 98% Fade. The skin is also available in a StatTrak™ version, so you can keep track of all your precious kills.

In addition to this, the rarity of the skin is Covert which means that it has a drop chance of approximately 0.26%, making it an extremely rare possession in the world of CS:GO.
