Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), who is the regulator of all telecommunication related activities in Pakistan has banned PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile game in all over Pakistan including Kashmir region after receiving several complaints from the public, parents, and other society members.

PUBG Mobile Banned in Pakistan by PTA

According to the official statement issued by PTA; the action to Ban PUBG Mobile game has been taken to safeguard the interest and future of young children, kids, and youth of Pakistan as the battle royale game is badly affecting the physical and mental health of young persons. PTA further said that playing the PUBG Mobile game is an addictive and time-wasting activity and cases of suicide attempts in the country are also increasing.

So if you are an Android smartphone or tablet device user or using an iOS-powered iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device then soon you won't be able to download, install and play PUBG Mobile game on your devices as Google Play Store and Apple App Store will be suspended the game in whole Pakistan region.

The banned on PUBG Mobile is "Temporary" and not permanent and PTA encouraged the general public to provide feedback through this email: consultation-pubg@pta.gov.pk by 10-July-2020. The related case is also pending in Honorable Lahore High Court and its hearing is being conducted on 9-July-2020.
