Apple iOS 9 GM is preceded by iOS 8 Firmware, and currently it's publicly available as Golden Master version for iOS developers, non-developers (general users), and public beta testers, iOS 9 Final and Full Version will be released on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10am Pacific Time as OTA (Over-the-Air) to all the users worldwide. iOS 9 GM Features and Changes

According to Apple, the all new iOS 9 Firmware is powered by several new features and functions such as; intelligent siri with smart answers and suggestions, improved proactive assistant, better transit directions and information in maps, new multitasking feature to work with two apps at once, side by side, improved and revamped Notes app, addition of new News app, Picture-in-Picture feature, enhanced battery life with new Low Power mode function with better security and performance, inclusion of productive built-in apps and lots more.
