"Swype" the most advanced virtual keyboard for Symbian and Android Smartphones has been acquired by "Nuance". For those who don’t know much about Swype Application, Swype is a faster and easier way to input text on any touchscreen smartphones, you can do most of your typing words in fast and easy way with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard at over 40 words per minute. Swype can be used in many devices like smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, televisions and other virtual screens.

For those who don’t know much about "Nuance", Nuance is a producer of voice recognition software for use in corporate environments. Nuance has bought Swype for $100 Million according to AllthingsD.com. The acquisition is expected to be announced tomorrow by Nuance. Nuance has acquired several different companies during 2011. In June, they bought SVOX, who also offered speech recognition software, just shortly after having purchased software developer Equitrac.
