Everyone is greatly affected by evolving technologies. The Internet is an encyclopedia of easily accessible information. The advantages of these new programs and devices are pretty distinct, but just like other things, they also have underlying setbacks.

Most Used Emojis
Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook are only some of the most popular social media sites wherein people are getting hooked to, especially the young ones. Teenagers are naturally adventurous and experimental; hence they always tend to look for things or characters that will help them emphasize their emotions, and that's where emojis comes in the picture. Here's a shortlist of the most commonly used emojis on social media.

6. Like (thumbs up) Emoji

However, as with much of language, this emoji can also be used sarcastically.

7. Heart Emoji

Love is complicated, even more, when you are trying to express it over a text message or on the Internet. In all social networking platforms, sending a heart emoji can mean various things depending on the color of the heart you used. Red, yellow, blue, purple, and black. These are the colors you need to be familiar with, so you won't be misinterpreted when using them. Just like the yellow heart which means “I like you and we are dating, but I’m not ready to red-heart you”. It’s basically the dating heart.

8. Angry Emoji

The image of a face with a downward curling mouth and wrinkled eyebrows is commonly known as the angry face emoji. From what it is called, it clearly represents a furious, upset and angry emotion but not extremely strong. For example simple disapproval towards someone's words.

9. Laughing Emoji

The face with tears of joy while laughing is commonly used during the hilarious exchanging of messages. It represents a person who is laughing so hard that their tears stream down their face. It is often used for teasing and joking when someone does or says something funny.

People also use this when they can't hide their excitement about a particular event, and they feel like sobbing with just the thought of it.

Takeaway

Welcome to 2020, where emojis are becoming a vital part of a text or message. Recently, your email will be considered as cold and emotionless if an emoji won't be found in your email. Using emojis makes sure that you can keep your reader responsive all the time.

For some people, emojis not only gives life to your conversations, but they also pick up where physical and correct grammar lacks. Even though technological advances sometimes make it a difficult task but it is important to stress our facial expressions and body language to give emphasis to our communication, and that's what emojis are created for.

Emojis may be crucial to express emotions during communication. They do not hold importance in the academic world. Therefore, we also need to weigh when and where only to use these emojis when portraying our texts efficiently.
